This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning area around Puig Roja. With a total distance of 16.906 kilometers and an elevation gain of 982 meters, this hike will challenge even experienced hikers. It is advisable to allocate around 6 hours and 22 minutes to complete the entire trail, so make sure you start early in the day.

As you embark on this adventure, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across Mariailles, a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you continue, you will reach the Croix de la Llipodère, a historic wayside cross located about 2.66 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 5.67 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the Col des Boucacers, a beautiful saddle in the natural landscape. Moving forward, you will encounter the Roc de l'Aigle, a peak located 5.54 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Cabane pastorale de Mariailles, a pastoral shelter where you can rest and enjoy a break. Additionally, there are several springs along the trail, with one located 2.17 kilometers from the start and another at 2.08 kilometers.

Towards the end of the route, you will reach the majestic Pic des Sept Hommes, a peak located 7.04 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the area. The final point of interest is Puig Roja, another peak situated 8.45 kilometers from the starting point, providing a rewarding conclusion to your journey.
