This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Koepfel. The trail is 2.4 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the beautiful Col de Saverne, a saddle located just 97 meters from the trail. This is a great spot to take in the scenic views and snap some photos. Continuing on, you will pass by a picnic site located just 58 meters from the trail, perfect for a rest and a snack.

About midway through the hike, you will reach the peak of Koepfel, standing tall at 1.2 kilometers from the start of the trail. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area from this vantage point. For those looking for an additional challenge, the peak of Baerenkupfel is also nearby, just 0.47 kilometers from the start of the trail.
