This extremely difficult 14.3 km out-and-back hiking route takes you through a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 1120 meters.

Starting at Parcheggio per Rocca Croce Provenzale, you will embark on a journey that will test your endurance and determination. Make sure to carry an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before setting out.

Along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of your hike, you will find an information point with valuable insights about the area. Further along the trail, at 2.98 km from the start, another information point awaits to provide you with more details about the surroundings.

As you continue your trek, at the 6.28 km mark, you will encounter a water source. This can be a great spot to replenish your water bottles and take a short break before pushing forward. At 6.74 km into the hike, you will reach Colle dell'Infernetto, a noteworthy saddle along the route.

Additionally, keep an eye out for wayside crosses and viewpoints that offer spectacular vistas but are a bit off the main trail. These are perfect spots to catch your breath and admire the natural beauty surrounding you.

Finally, as you make your way back to the starting point, take in all the sights and sounds of the trail one last time before completing this challenging yet rewarding hike.
