This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 16.051-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 381 meters. The trail starts at Mirador de los Barrancos de Gebas, a stunning viewpoint where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by an archaeological site known as Poblado íbero, located 1.59 kilometers from the start. This historical site offers a glimpse into the ancient Iberian civilization that once inhabited the region.

Along the trail, you will also encounter a water feature 0.83 kilometers from the start, as well as several parking areas for your convenience. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as this challenging route will take approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes to complete.

As you continue on, you will reach Cerro de la Atalaya, a peak located 5.61 kilometers from the start. From this high point, you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at 3.12 kilometers from the start, you will come across Mirador del Embalse de Algeciras, another scenic viewpoint where you can rest and admire the reservoir below.

Towards the end of the route, approximately 8.03 kilometers from the start, you will find information points and drinking water facilities to refuel and learn more about the area.
