This hiking route will take you through the stunning landscapes of Mont Fracha. The trail is 9.857 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 488 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Chapelle Saint-Pons, a wilderness hut located 1.33 kilometers from the start of the trail. This hut offers a great resting spot and a chance to appreciate the surrounding nature.
Continuing onwards, at the beginning of the trail, you will find the Col de la Sinne, a natural saddle just 0.05 kilometers away. As you progress further, you will reach a wayside shrine and a picnic site, both located around 0.04 kilometers from the trail.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Col de Courbaisse, another natural saddle situated 3.91 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to catch your breath and take in the panoramic views.
As you near the end of the trail, you will reach the Mont Fracha, a peak that stands at 4.93 kilometers from the start. The challenging ascent to this peak will reward you with breathtaking vistas that make the effort worthwhile.
