This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Mont Fracha. The route is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 9.857 kilometers and an elevation gain of 488 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Chapelle Saint-Pons wilderness hut, located 1.33 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This hut is a great place to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Further along the trail, at around 4.53 kilometers, you will reach Mont Fracha peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. This is a perfect spot to stop and admire the beauty of the landscape.
Along the way, you will also encounter various points of interest such as Col de la Sinne, Col de Courbaisse, and a wayside shrine. These landmarks add to the charm of the hike and provide insight into the history and natural beauty of the area.
