Hiking : Cabane du Chatellerat

This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historical landmarks. The trail is 10.661 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 410 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and strength.

Starting at the parking area, you will make your way towards the Parc National des Ecrins, where you can learn more about the area and its wildlife at the information point. From there, you will continue on the trail, passing by the Charles Buisson memorial before reaching the Ancienne cabane du pré des Faures, an ancient ruins site that offers a glimpse into the past.

Midway through the hike, you will come across the Cabane du Chatellerat, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as the trail can be steep and challenging at times.

As you make your way back to the starting point, take in the beauty of the landscape and soak in the sense of accomplishment from completing this challenging hike.
