This hiking route will take you through the scenic Schwarzwaldregion Belchen area, starting at the Schwarzwaldregion Belchen Tourist Information center. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the Tretbecken, a natural water feature, before continuing on towards several other water points along the way. Be sure to bring enough water for your journey and fill up at these spots if needed.

As you trek further along, you'll come across benches for resting and enjoying the surroundings. You'll also encounter informational points such as Schönau Ortsmitte and Naturschutzgebiet Belchen, where you can learn more about the area's flora, fauna, and conservation efforts.

The hike will take you past drinking water stations like the one at Schönau Rathaus, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your adventure. You'll also find plenty of informational signs about the local plant and animal life, including Magerrasen (dry grassland) and Waldränder (forest edges).

The route leads you to the Haldenfels destination, where you can enjoy panoramic views from the viewpoint. Along the way, you may want to take a break at the shelter located 3 kilometers from the start, or at the Wiesenbrücke bench 532 meters away.
