Welcome to the Queenstown Hill Viewpoint hike! This moderate out-and-back route spans a distance of 3.736 kilometers with an elevation gain of 281 meters, taking approximately 1 hour and 34 minutes to complete.

The trail begins at the Queenstown Hill Walkway entrance, where you'll find parking available nearby. As you embark on your journey, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll pass by benches where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Further along, you'll encounter the Carin Stacks, a unique attraction that adds character to the landscape.

Midway through the hike, you'll find informational signage detailing the history of Pastoralism & Gold, as well as insights into Early Maori and Ngai Tahu culture and resource use. These points offer a cultural perspective to your outdoor adventure.

As you continue towards the endpoint, you'll reach viewpoints that provide stunning panoramas of the area. Be sure to stop at these locations to capture the beauty of Queenstown from different vantage points. At the end of the trail, you'll reach the Queenstown Hill Viewpoint, where you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
