This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around Mangiabo. The trail is 12.745 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 905 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across PO du Col de Brouis, a historic fort located 0.29 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at the 0.04 kilometer mark, you will reach Col de Brouis, a natural saddle with stunning views. Nearby, you can take a break at Auberge du Col de Brouis, a restaurant located right on the trail.
As you continue, you will pass by various points of interest such as memorials, information centers, and even a drinking water station to refill your supplies. Around the 2.33 kilometer mark, you will find more information centers where you can learn about the area's history and geography.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Mangiabo at the 6.37 kilometer mark, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. On your way back, you will pass by Baisse de Levens, another natural saddle at the 2.33 kilometer mark.
