Welcome to the Cargadorveder hiking route, a challenging trail that offers stunning views and exciting via ferrata sections. This circular route covers a distance of 9.559 kilometers with an elevation gain of 549 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at the parking lot near the trailhead, you will set off on your adventure. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest. About 4.38 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Via attrezzata Giulio Segata, a thrilling via ferrata that adds an extra level of excitement to the journey.
As you continue on, you will come across the Dos d'Abramo peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Make sure to stop by Fontana delle Rogiole at around 3.88 kilometers into the hike to refill your water supply.
For a well-deserved rest, there is a picnic site located just 0.08 kilometers from the trail. Additionally, there are information points scattered along the route to provide you with interesting insights into the area's history and landmarks.
As you make your way back towards the starting point, don't miss the viewpoint at 4.42 kilometers, where you can soak in the beauty of the landscape. Along the trail, you will also find a BBQ area and a wayside cross, adding to the charm of the hike.
