This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a mix of historic sites and natural attractions. The trail is considered easy, with a distance of 2.933 kilometers and an elevation gain of 139 meters.
Starting at the parking area, you will first come across a bench just 10 meters from the trailhead, where you can take a moment to enjoy the surroundings before heading out. As you continue on, you will pass by the Château de Dreistein occidental, a historic castle located 1.03 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Further along the hike, at about 1.08 kilometers into the route, you will encounter the first castle ruins, followed by more ruins scattered along the trail. These ruins provide a glimpse into the area's rich history and are great photo opportunities.
As you approach the turnaround point at Roche Stollhafen, you will come across the Roche Stollhafen rock formation, just 3 meters from the trail. This natural feature offers a unique and picturesque backdrop for a rest stop before heading back.
Throughout the hike, you will also find benches and information points conveniently placed along the trail for resting and learning more about the area.
