This hiking route, known as Sentier du Mur Païen, offers a beautiful journey through a scenic area. The trail is circular, covering a distance of 4.435 kilometers with an elevation gain of 171 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

At the beginning of the trail, just 0.01 kilometers from the start, you will find a peaceful bench to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Moving onwards, at a distance of 0.75 kilometers, you will encounter several historic ruins dispersed throughout the area, each with its own unique story to tell.

Approximately 1.2 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Badstube Source, a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply. Further along the trail, at 2.19 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape.

Additionally, you may spot the Château de Dreistein occidental, a historic castle located 0.75 kilometers away from the trail. Although not directly on the path, it adds to the charm of the route.
