This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sentier du Mur Païen. The trail is 3.147 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 139 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration of the hike is 1 hour and 4 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the very beginning of the trail, just 0.01 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench for a quick rest. Further along, at 1.08 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a castle, followed by another castle at 1.12 kilometers.
Midway through the hike, at 1.57 kilometers, you will find a rock formation known as Rocher St Nicolas and a bench for a break. Continuing on, at 1.38 kilometers, there is a cave entrance called Grotte d'Etichon and an archaeological site named Porte de Koeberle.
As you near the end of the trail, at 1.56 kilometers, you will see another rock formation called Rocher Robert Forrer and a bench for one final rest. Finally, at the end of the trail, 1.57 kilometers into the hike, there is the viewpoint Roche Stollhafen and an information point named Stollhafen.
