This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 28.535-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 842 meters. You will be starting at the trailhead and making your way towards the Rockbound Lake Viewpoint.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by parking areas at 5.15 kilometers and 0.0 kilometers from the start. These are convenient spots for you to leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Along the way, you will also come across the beautiful Tower Lake at 12.7 kilometers from the start. This natural water feature provides a perfect spot to rest and admire the scenery.
Further ahead, at around 3.95 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Castle Cliffs viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will also pass by a picnic site at 2.61 kilometers from the start, a great place to take a break and refuel.
At the midway point of your hike, approximately 14.27 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rockbound Lake Viewpoint. This stunning vista is a perfect reward for your challenging trek. Nearby, you can also visit the Tower Lake Viewpoint at 13.9 kilometers and the Tower Lake viewpoint at 13.3 kilometers from the start for more panoramic views.
