This hike takes place in a beautiful mountainous area with stunning views. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.648 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1006 meters, making it a difficult hike that is suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Around 2.79 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Camillo Giussani alpine hut, where you can take a rest and enjoy some refreshments. Continuing on, at around 3.5 kilometers, you'll come across the Punta Marietta peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Further along the trail, at approximately 3.82 kilometers, you'll encounter the II. Pilastro peak, another great spot to take in the breathtaking scenery. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Angelo Debona restaurant located at the beginning of the trail to replenish your energy.
