This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural and historic landmarks. The trail is 11.931 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 467 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 55 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the historic Torre de Guaita del Túnel about 3 kilometers into the hike. Along the way, you'll also come across the Barraca del Ros ruins and the Font del Cal Cintet drinking water point. As you continue, you'll reach the Morralet del Peiró peak and the Portell del Peiró saddle, both offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, you'll find the Bassa de Bombers water point and the Terreny d'acampada L'Hort de l'Abadia campsite. Make sure to bring enough water as some water points may not be directly on the trail. As you make your way back, don't miss the Casetes del Túnel ruins and the Cova del Cabrer cave entrance.
Throughout the trail, you'll find benches and information points to take a rest and learn more about the area.
