This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Kreuzjöchlspitze peak, covering a total distance of 16.309 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1861 meters.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by Ludwigsburger Hütte, an alpine hut located 3.08 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding mountain views.

As you continue along the trail, you will come across Kugleter See, a beautiful water feature located 6.82 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect place to rest and immerse yourself in the serenity of nature.

Further along the route, at around 7.62 kilometers from the start, you will find another water point, providing a refreshing stop for hikers.

For those interested in exploring peaks, Riegelkopf is located 7.79 kilometers from the start, offering a challenging side trip for experienced hikers.

During your hike, be sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water supply at the drinking water point located 3.08 kilometers from the start.

At the turnaround point, you will reach the breathtaking Kreuzjöchlspitze peak, standing tall at 8.15 kilometers from the starting point. Take in the panoramic views before retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
