Welcome to the Wettinweg hiking route! This super easy trail covers a distance of 1.268 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
The route starts at a convenient parking area and passes by a bicycle parking facility at the beginning. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest.
Near the start of the trail, just 0.01 kilometers in, you'll find the Infopoint Waldidylle where you can gather information about the area. Continuing on, at 0.58 kilometers, the Uttewalder Grund offers a picturesque natural setting and a memorial known as the Freundschaftsstein. Further along at 0.63 kilometers, you'll reach the Bergfalkenturm viewpoint, providing stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
For those looking to take a break or grab a bite to eat, the Waldidylle restaurant is located close to the trail at 0.01 kilometers. Additionally, at the 0.33 kilometer mark, you'll find the Einsamer Turm, a climbing spot for adventure enthusiasts.
As you near the end of the trail, at 0.63 kilometers, there is an entrance to a cave at a distance of 125.91 meters. Finally, the Strudeltopf and the Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz information points are located at the end of the trail, providing further insights into the region.
