Welcome to the Schartnerweg hiking route!

This moderate 5.565-kilometer out-and-back trail offers beautiful views and a chance to connect with nature. The route has an elevation gain of 458 meters and is expected to take about 2 hours and 25 minutes to complete.

Starting from the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area, which is located just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will pass by a wayside shrine at 0.13 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of historical charm to your hike.

About 1 kilometer into the hike, you'll find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail at 1.82 kilometers, there is a spring where you can refill your water bottle and take in the tranquil sounds of flowing water.

As you trek towards the peak of Schartnerkogel at 2.74 kilometers, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the surrounding area. At the peak, you can rest and appreciate the beauty of the natural landscape.

On the way back, you can stop by the Kleine Quelle spring at 2.5 kilometers and enjoy another refreshing break. Additionally, there are viewpoints and benches scattered along the trail, offering opportunities to rest and soak in the serene atmosphere.
