This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Hope B. McCormick Swan Pond in Chicago. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by South Pond and the Ulysses S. Grant Monument. Further along, you will find the AT&T Endangered Species Carousel, the Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller Monument, and the Lincoln Park Zoo, where you can take a break and enjoy the wildlife.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Kovler Sea Pool and the Park Place Cafe, where you can refuel and relax. Towards the end of the trail, you will encounter various attractions such as the Japanese Macaque, the African Painted Dog, and the Adelor the lion monument.
