The Boise River Greenbelt in Boise is a scenic area perfect for a leisurely hike. This out-and-back route offers a 3.75 km trail with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the Idaho Fallen Firefighters Memorial Plaza located 0.71 km from the trailhead. This memorial honors the bravery and sacrifice of firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Further along the trail at the 1.14 km mark, you'll find a water source for refilling your bottles. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

At the midway point, 1.66 km into the hike, you'll come across The Rookery, a shelter where you can rest and take in the views of the river.

As you make your way back towards the trailhead, be sure to stop by the World Trade Center Memorial and the Firefighter’s Prayer Statue, both located around the 0.7 km mark. These memorials pay tribute to the lives lost during tragic events.
