Located in the beautiful area of 新山, this hiking route offers a pleasant and easy trek for nature enthusiasts. The 2.08-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 157 meters provides a moderate challenge for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the parking area, hikers will follow the trail towards 新山 peak, which is situated about 1.04 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will encounter the first viewpoint, 第一觀景台, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape just 0.34 kilometers into the hike. Further ahead at 0.41 kilometers, you will come across the second viewpoint, 第二觀景台, providing another excellent spot to rest and admire the scenery.

Midway through the hike, at 0.95 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history. Additionally, at the same distance, you will find the milestone 野牛隊 2, adding a touch of historic charm to your journey.

As you approach the 新山 peak, be sure to take in the beauty of the surroundings and capture some memorable moments. Just before reaching the peak, at 1.04 kilometers, there is a notice board (告示) reminding hikers not to venture off the designated path.
