The trail starts at Stari vrh, a peak located 1.96 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Okrepčevalnica Smučišče Rudno restaurant, perfect for a quick refreshment only 0.27 kilometers from the starting point.

As you continue onward, you will encounter the Sleme peak, the main highlight of the hike, at 4.74 kilometers from the start. The stunning views from the peak make the elevation gain of 473 meters worth it.

Throughout the hike, you will be surrounded by natural beauty, with lush greenery and possibly even some wildlife. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as the difficulty of this trail lies in its length and elevation gain.
