Located in the Emilia-Romagna region, Monte di Rontana offers a super easy hiking experience with a total distance of approximately 1.329 kilometers and no elevation gain. The route is an out-and-back type, leading to the peak of Monte di Rontana.

Starting off the trail, you will come across a parking area situated just 20 meters away. As you progress, at around 0.59 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the archaeological site known as Castello di Rontana. Further along the trail at 0.64 kilometers, you will find another archaeological site.

Midway through the hike, at 0.66 kilometers, you'll reach Case Torri, an interesting archaeological site worth exploring. Nearby, also at 0.66 kilometers, is the peak of Monte di Rontana. Take some time to admire the natural beauty of the surroundings from this vantage point.

If you're interested in exploring caves, you can find Abisso Luigi Fantini at 0.36 kilometers from the start, although it's slightly off the trail. Additionally, Buco della Croce and Buco 1° di M. Rontana are located at 0.53 kilometers from the start along the trail, offering unique underground adventures.

Throughout the route, you will also come across informational points and benches for resting and gathering more knowledge about the area.
