This hiking route is located in the beautiful area of Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 0.596 kilometers and no elevation gain.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal at just 0.14 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Continuing on, you will find Lock 10, a water attraction, at the start of the trail. Further along the way, at the 0.3 kilometer mark, you will reach Lock 11, another water attraction which is an interesting spot to explore.

During your hike, it is recommended to bring water, especially as you pass a drinking water point located on the trail. Additionally, be sure to check the weather forecast before heading out.

Enjoy the serene surroundings of Chesapeake and Ohio Canal as you make your way to Lock 11 and back on this leisurely hike.
