Welcome to the Oermisweg hiking route in Illnau-Effretikon. This super easy, circular trail spans 1.875 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll in nature.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the Dorfbrunnen Bisikon, a drinking water spot just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at around 0.07 kilometers, you'll find another water point and information center.

Midway through the route at 0.59 kilometers, you'll pass by Örmis, a parking area where you can rest or even have a barbecue. Keep an eye out for Farm Stand Ueli Kuhn, a local farm shop located right on the trail at the beginning.

Towards the end of your hike, at 0.89 kilometers, you'll encounter a bench and more water resources.
