Welcome to the hiking route to Schlagberghütte! This easy out-and-back trail spans 3.929 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, you'll embark on a journey that takes you through the beautiful surroundings of the area. Along the way, you'll come across several points of interest that add to the charm of the hike.
About halfway through the trail, you'll find the Eremitage, an attraction that is worth a visit. Further ahead, at around 1.01 kilometers from the start, there is a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
As you continue on, you'll also encounter the Herzog Carl August Quelle spring and the Reiterbrunnen memorial, both of which are interesting landmarks along the trail.
At the endpoint of the hike, 1.96 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Schlagberghütte, an alpine hut where you can relax and take in the scenic views before heading back the way you came.
