This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Butjønn. The trail is 4.1 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 116 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners and families.

As you start your hike, you will come across Gillshytta, a cozy cafe located just 0.11 kilometers from the trailhead. It's a perfect spot to grab a snack or a warm drink before you begin your adventure.

Further along the trail at 1.1 kilometers in, you will reach Øygardstjønn, a picturesque water body where you can take a moment to admire the peaceful surroundings.

At the midway point, you will find a couple of water sources, including Butjønn at 2.05 kilometers and another water point at 1.94 kilometers. These are great spots to refill your water bottle and take a rest before continuing on your journey.

As you make your way back towards the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area located just 1.294 meters away from the trail, making it convenient for those arriving by car.
