Welcome to the Spärra hiking route, a challenging trek that covers a distance of 15.613 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1454 meters. This route is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous journey ahead.
Starting off at the parking area, you'll begin your adventure surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience.
At the beginning of the route, you'll find a parking area with a fee, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you progress, approximately 5.61 kilometers into the trail, you'll reach the Fergenhütte alpine hut. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on your journey.
Around 0.06 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter where you can seek refuge if needed. Further along the trail, at 7.54 kilometers, you'll find a water source followed by more water sources at 7.74 and 7.81 kilometers. It's important to stay hydrated throughout the hike, so be sure to refill your water bottles at these points.
As you approach the midway point of the route, approximately 6.97 kilometers in, you'll come across the Fergenfurgga saddle, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This is a perfect spot to admire the scenery and take some photos.
Near the end of the trail, at 7.17 kilometers, there is a peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area. Additionally, at 7.68 kilometers, there is another peak worth exploring for a different perspective of the surroundings.
