This hiking route will take you on a scenic adventure through the Gamskogel area. The 11.065-kilometer long trail offers a challenging experience with an elevation gain of 774 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting your journey from the Weltcup-Arena parking area, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Übungslift Zauchis Kinderland, a perfect spot for kids to practice skiing. Further ahead, around 1.7 kilometers into the hike, you can take a break at the Unterbergalm restaurant.

As you continue your trek, approximately 3.45 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Gamskogelhütte restaurant, offering a cozy place to rest and refuel. About midway through the hike, at 4.94 kilometers, you will come across an information point providing insights about the area.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Gamskogel viewpoint located 5.27 kilometers from the trail's starting point. This spot offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the Gamskogel peak.

Finally, on the way back, you can stop by the Arena Alm restaurant, situated just 0.04 kilometers from the start of the trail, before completing your circular route. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging yet rewarding adventure in the Gamskogel area.
