The Oude Maaspad is a picturesque hiking trail that offers a relaxing outdoor experience. The route is circular, starting and ending at the same point. The total distance of the hike is approximately 2.4 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it an easy and accessible trail for hikers of all levels.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area, just 7 meters away from the trail. About 1.08 kilometers into the hike, you will find a peaceful water spot where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Additionally, there are several benches along the way, perfect for resting or taking in the scenic views.

Halfway through the hike, approximately 0.78 kilometers from the start, there is another water feature to explore. As you continue on, you will pass by a picnic site located 0.21 kilometers from the start, ideal for a mid-hike snack or meal.

At the end of the trail, you will encounter an interesting artwork location, adding a cultural element to your outdoor adventure. Remember to bring plenty of water, especially on hot days, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
