This challenging hiking route in the Alberes area will take you to the Creu de Sailfort. The trail spans approximately 7.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 623 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the Coll de Banyuls viewpoint and the Coll de Banyuls memorial as you make your way towards the peak of Pic de Sallfort. This peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape and is situated around 3.4 kilometers from the start.

As you continue along the trail, you will encounter the Refuge Tomy, a rustic shelter where hikers can take a rest. Nearby, you will find the Source François Grand, a natural spring ideal for refilling your water supply.

Further along the route, you will reach the Puig de les Eres peak and the Coll de les Eres saddle, each offering unique vantage points of the area. The trail also passes by the Coll de Banyuls and the Borne frontière 591 boundary stone, adding historical significance to your hike.
