This extremely difficult 15.746 km out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Monte Montanel area. The trail starts at a convenient parking area at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will come across a historic wayside shrine just 0.4 km from the start, adding a cultural touch to your hike.

Halfway through your hike, around the 6.23 km mark, you'll find the Bivacco Da Deppo Montanel shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Further along the trail, at around 7.87 km, you'll reach the peak of Monte Montanel itself, offering stunning panoramic views of the area.

While the trail may be challenging due to its 1741.0 meters elevation gain, the reward of reaching Monte Montanel and witnessing its beauty makes it all worthwhile. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.

Additionally, at the end of the hike, don't forget to visit the nearby picnic site at 0.41 km where you can relax and refuel before heading back. This hike offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and experience the beauty of Monte Montanel.
