Located in a serene natural area, this super easy hiking route will take you to the beautiful Étang de l'Abbaye. Starting at the parking area, the trail is a leisurely 0.905 kilometers long with no elevation gain, making it perfect for all skill levels.
Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find Étang de l'Abbaye, a picturesque water body just 0.45 kilometers from the start. Further along, you will come across more water features, adding to the scenic charm of the trail.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the ruins of Abbatiale, a historic site located just 0.02 kilometers from the trail. Although it's slightly off the main path, it's worth a short detour to explore this piece of history.
As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, allowing you to enjoy the sights from a different perspective. Don't forget to bring plenty of water, as there are limited facilities along the trail. It's also recommended to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a pleasant hiking experience.
