This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Mozirska koča na Golteh area, offering stunning views and a challenging experience.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the alpine hut. The trail is considered difficult, with a total distance of 9.574 kilometers and an elevation gain of 835 meters. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest.

About 1.65 kilometers into the hike, you will find a historic wayside shrine. Further along, at 1.46 kilometers, another wayside shrine can be seen. Information points can be found at various locations along the trail, providing insights into the area's history and landmarks.

At approximately 4.79 kilometers, you will reach the Mozirska koča na Golteh alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, there is a viewpoint nearby for spectacular views.

As you make your way back, be sure to check out the peak of Okence, located around 4.79 kilometers from the start. Keep in mind to bring enough water, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.
