This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with rich history and archaeological sites. The route is circular, starting and ending at the parking area. The total distance of the hike is 0.68 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it super easy for all skill levels.
As you begin your hike, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. At approximately 0.12 kilometers from the start, you will reach Tel Hazor, an archaeological site. Continuing on, at 0.22 kilometers, you'll find another archaeological site. As you reach the 0.33 kilometer mark, you'll encounter the remains of an ancient Canaanite temple at Bamot Polhan and an Israelite fortress.
Further along the trail, you'll come across the Israeli Tower at 0.33 kilometers, followed by more archaeological sites such as a private house, a public building, and the Palace of the Canaanite Kings at 0.08, 0.21, and 0.18 kilometers respectively. Additionally, you'll pass by a viewpoint and a Canaanite shrine on your way back.
