This difficult 7.2-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Althausalm destination. The trail offers an elevation gain of 375 meters and takes approximately 2 hours and 36 minutes to complete.

Starting at Parkplatz Distelkopfalm, you will begin your journey through the stunning natural surroundings. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest:

- Stötzlbergalm: A charming alpine hut located 2.46 kilometers from the start of the trail, offering a cozy place to rest and enjoy a meal.
- Althausalm: Another alpine hut situated 3.6 kilometers from the start, perfect for a refreshing break.
- Water sources: You will find natural water sources 0.27 and 0.41 kilometers from the start, providing a chance to refill your water bottles.
- Historical sites: Look out for a wayside shrine 0.84 kilometers into the hike and another at 1.01 kilometers, adding a cultural touch to your adventure.
- Information points: Stay informed with tourism information points located at various spots along the trail.
- Facilities: Benches are available at 1.01 kilometers from the start for a quick rest.
