This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 3.726 kilometers and an elevation gain of 71 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, you'll first come across a natural water source around 0.81 kilometers in. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle before continuing on.
As you hike further along the trail, at around 1.76 kilometers, you'll encounter the stunning Cascades de Nieul waterfall, a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the scenery.
Continuing on, you'll reach the ruins of an ancient water mill at approximately 1.78 kilometers into the hike, adding a historical touch to your nature walk.
Further along the route, at around 1.84 kilometers, you'll have the opportunity to explore the peak of Puy Pauly, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Finally, the hike will lead you to the destination point of the Ancien étang with a damaged dam at approximately 1.86 kilometers into the trail.
