This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Limmat. The trail is super easy, making it perfect for hikers of all levels. Before you embark on this journey, make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About midway through your hike, you'll find a bike parking spot for those who prefer cycling to hiking.
Along the way, you'll also encounter several points of interest. At around 0.3 kilometers from the start, there is a restaurant called Restaurant Werdinsel where you can grab a bite to eat. Nearby, you'll find the Limmat river, a great spot for a quick break or to simply enjoy the view.
Further along the trail, at around 0.34 kilometers from the start, there are benches and a shelter where you can rest and take in the surroundings. There is also a drinking water station and an information point about Werdinsel.
Towards the end of the hike, you'll pass by more benches and another drinking water station close to the trail. As you make your way back to the starting point, you'll find more benches and a bike parking area for those arriving by bicycle.
