This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Etzel, where you will enjoy stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The route is a circular one with a total distance of 2.131 kilometers and an elevation gain of 125 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the St. Meinrad restaurant just 0.05 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite before embarking on your adventure. Further along the trail at 0.29 kilometers, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area.
Midway through the hike, at around 0.85 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Etzel Kulm viewpoint. Take a moment to admire the panoramic views before continuing on. Nearby, you will also find the Bergrestaurant Etzel-Kulm where you can rest and refuel.
As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to stop by the Etzel peak viewpoint, located 0.85 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
