This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 12.769-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1746 meters in the picturesque area around Refuge de l'Aigle.
Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will make your way through stunning alpine landscapes, passing by a beautiful water feature just 0.04 kilometers from the start. As you continue onwards, you will reach the Col du Bec viewpoint at 5.23 kilometers, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
Midway through the hike, at 3.02 kilometers, you will come across another viewpoint called L'Âne, where you can take a well-deserved rest and enjoy the scenery. Further along the trail, at 6.05 kilometers, you will encounter the peak known as Bec de l'Aigle, adding a sense of achievement to your adventure.
For those looking to stay overnight, the alpine hut, Refuge de l'Aigle, is located 6.38 kilometers from the trail start, offering a cozy place to rest and refuel before continuing your journey.
