Welcome to the hiking route to Gobavica!

Located in a beautiful area, this hike offers stunning views and a chance to explore some interesting points of interest along the way.

At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the historic Spodnji grad castle, which is definitely worth a visit. Further along, you will pass by Oranžerija, a pub where you can stop for a refreshing drink. Not too far from the trail, there is also a parking area for your convenience.

As you continue on, you will reach Mengeška koča na Gobavici, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy a meal. This is located about 0.64 kilometers from the start of the trail.

On your way back, make sure to stop by the ruins of Grad Mannsburg and the wayside shrine at Gobavica peak. Along the trail, you will also find benches where you can take a break and information signs to learn more about the area.

With a total distance of 1.288 kilometers and an elevation gain of 69.0 meters, this hike is rated as super easy. However, it's always important to bring enough water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before heading out.
