This extremely difficult 12.832-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Gippelhütte in the picturesque area. The trail boasts an elevation gain of 918 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 15 minutes to complete.

As you embark on this challenging journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area to leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you progress, you will come across the Jausenstation Holzhof, a cozy restaurant where you can refuel and recharge.

About 5.74 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Gippeltörl, a beautiful saddle marking the halfway point of your trek. Additionally, there are information points, benches, picnic sites, and shelters strategically placed along the trail.

At the end of the route lies the Gippelhütte, an alpine hut situated at an elevation of 1500 meters. Here, you can rest and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Don't forget to check out the water source nearby for a refreshing break.
