This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Fuente de Piedrafita in PR AS-304 Foz de la Escalada-Tiatordos in Ponga. With a total distance of 12.327 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1126 meters, this hike is considered extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will find a parking area for your convenience. About midway through the hike, you will come across a refreshing spring where you can rest and refill your water supply. Further along the trail, there are benches where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Be sure to check out the peak at 3.91 kilometers into the hike, followed by a saddle at 6.16 kilometers. For sustenance, there is a restaurant called Hotel rural El Quintanal located just 0.02 kilometers from the trail. Additionally, Casa de los Madrileños, a cafe, is situated at 0.32 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your hike.
