This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Bico do Castro in DP-4307. The trail spans a distance of 8.23 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding trek.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Praia de Esteiro, a stunning beach located just 0.15 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 1.27 kilometers into the hike, you will come across another beach called Praia de Beo. Make sure to take in the scenic views and maybe even take a rest at the picnic site just 0.59 kilometers ahead.
At the midway point of the trail, you will find a drinking water spot to refill your bottles and stay hydrated. As you continue onwards, you may encounter several peaks along the way, with the closest peak just 0.17 kilometers from the trail. These peaks offer spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding area, but be cautious as some may be a bit off the main path.
For sustenance, there is a BBQ spot and a restaurant called Restaurante Seiruga approximately 1.86 kilometers from the trail start. These locations are perfect for a pit stop to refuel before heading back. Be sure to plan accordingly and check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike. Remember to bring enough water, wear proper hiking gear, and respect the natural surroundings.
