This hiking route takes you through the stunning Vercors region, known for its rugged landscapes and beautiful scenery. The hike starts at an elevation of 1455 meters and will take you to the Pas de l'Essaure at 1664 meters.

Along the way, you will pass by the Cabane de l'Essaure, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. This hut is located 2 kilometers away from the starting point.

As you continue on the trail, you will also come across the Bergerie de Combau, an information point about the area, located 1 kilometer from the starting point. The trail offers a couple of viewpoints where you can stop and take in the breathtaking views of the Vercors region.

With a total distance of 5.4 kilometers and an elevation gain of 212 meters, this hike is of moderate difficulty. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
