This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route leads to the stunning Ibón Chico de Perramó, offering a challenging but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers.
The trail starts at the Aparcamiento de Estós parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the 13.547-kilometer journey. As you set off, you'll pass by the beautiful Embalses de Estós, a perfect spot to take in some scenic views just 0.47 kilometers from the starting point.
Around the midway point of the hike, approximately 5 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Ibonet de Batisielles, a picturesque lake surrounded by natural beauty. Keep an eye out for the Fuente de Coronas spring, located 2.73 kilometers from the beginning, providing a refreshing stop along the way.
As you continue onwards, you'll come across the Cabaña de Santa Ana wilderness hut at the 1.94-kilometer mark, offering a potential resting spot before reaching your final destination. The trail also passes by informative points such as the Macizo de Perdiguero and Ibonet de Batisielles, providing insight into the surrounding area's history and geography.
With a total elevation gain of 949 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for the challenging terrain.
