This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Cima Rovaia peak.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by "La locanda della Val Grande," a restaurant located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue onwards, you will encounter historic ruins at 6.6 kilometers into the hike, followed by more ruins at 6.69 kilometers and 7.06 kilometers.
At the same distance marker of 7.06 kilometers, you will reach the majestic Cima Rovaia peak, a natural wonder offering stunning views of the surrounding area.
Throughout the trail, you will find various points of interest such as wayside crosses, information points, artworks, and picnic sites. Some of these points are located close to the trail, while others are a bit further away.
This 14.115-kilometer hike has an elevation gain of 955 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 39 minutes to complete.
