This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Rotmoosalm. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 9.692 kilometers and an elevation gain of 764 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find Salzbach parking area. As you continue on, you will come across various points of interest such as the information point located 1.9 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will also find benches for resting and enjoying the scenic views.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.47 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rotmoosalm, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel. Additionally, there is a drinking water point nearby to replenish your water supply.

As you make your way back, you may encounter several information points providing insights into the surroundings. It's important to note that there are Wegsperrung (trail closure) points along the way, so make sure to follow the designated path.
