This extremely difficult 17.424-kilometer circular hike on Chemin de Camp Bourjas will take you on a challenging journey with an elevation gain of 536 meters. The route will last approximately 5 hours and 22 minutes, so be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks.
Starting off, you will find a parking area right at the beginning of the trail, making it convenient for you to park your vehicle. As you continue on, at about 5.29 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Menhir de l'Avelan, an archaeological site that is definitely worth a visit.
On your way back, at 5.55 kilometers, you'll encounter a historic wayside cross. Further along the trail, at 8.62 kilometers, you will discover two stunning waterfalls, the first one located 101 meters away from the trail and the second one sitting just 17 meters away, providing a refreshing sight amidst the challenging hike.
Additionally, 1.86 kilometers away from the trail, you'll find the magnificent peak known as Signal du Centiniès. Although you won't be passing directly by these points of interest, they are worth noting for future trips in the area.
