This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin de Camp Bourjas. With a total distance of 17.424 kilometers and an elevation gain of 536 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging trek.
Starting off, you will find parking spaces at the trailhead to leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. As you begin your hike, you will come across the Menhir de l'Avelan, an archaeological site that dates back in history, located approximately 5.29 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.86 kilometers, you will find the peak known as Signal du Centiniès, offering a stunning panoramic view of the surroundings.
During your hike, you will also encounter two waterfalls, located at 8.62 kilometers from the start. These refreshing natural features provide a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenic beauty around you.
As this route is circular, you will eventually make your way back to the starting point, passing by the Menhir de l'Avelan once again on the way back. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear for this challenging adventure.
